It has been such a great joy for me both professionally and personally to lead so many classes full of amazing caregivers and kiddos. I had no idea my career would take me in this direction, but I am so thrilled it has! Every day I get to teach a class is a gift because it's a day that I get to be a part of a mama's joy, witness a child's learning, support a family through a challenging experience, connect caregivers with each other, and be a part of so many other steps along this crazy parenting journey.

I am so grateful for our Fun Foundations class with Emily! We started attending when my son was around 18 months old; now at 24 months, he looks forward to the singing, story time, sign language lessons, and sensory time that Emily leads. He is naturally reserved in a class setting, but Emily is very patient in giving him enough time to answer questions, and let him warm up to participating. This class is a weekly must for us. We feel out-of-sorts when we miss a week! I am grateful for the safe learning space this class provides, and the confident boost Henry feels after a class with Emily, testing out the words and themes of the day. My only regret is that we didn’t start Emily’s classes sooner!

We just finished up the Level 1 Baby Signing class and loved it so much we have started to attend the Fun Foundations classes! These classes are a great way for the littles to get out and interact with others as well as the parents. Not to mention they are a ton of fun! We are excited to continue on and take many more classes Emily offers! :)

Our Fun Foundations classes are the best resource I have as a Mama. Google and random books can be overwhelming (does this match my parenting style and the personality of my child? Is it really research based? Should I look for more info elsewhere? How many books or websites is too much?). I have so much more confidence and trust my gut as a Mama largely due to the fact that I know that if I come up against something that I can't handle or don't know where to start with, I have a great resource to help me through it every week.

My twins and I, along with my kids' Grandma, attended Baby Sign Language and Fun Foundations classes. My kids love the enriching environment and have responded so well to the activities, songs, dances, and books.

Emily intwines social emotional development into the classes which has immense value for this age group. My kids' Grandma loves to attend and raves about the VALUE that these classes bring to her grandkids - as a retired special ed teacher, she recognizes and is thrilled by the depth of content that Emily provides in her classes and with the weekly handouts.

Emily is FANTASTIC! My daughter and I have taken both her Baby Sign Language Level 1 as well as a Fun Foundations class. Both classes were wonderful. My 5-month-old daughter (at the time) and I took the Level 1 Sign Language class over the summer and absolutely LOVED it! Emily provided so many resources aside from signing - feeding/mealtime tips, how to help manage meltdowns, positive communication tips and so much more. As a new Mama, it can be overwhelming just getting out the door and this class was a great way to meet other mamas, socialize with other kiddos and learn some valuable information. Did I mention the class was fun?? Highly recommend!
