"mud" playdoh recipe
This "mud" playdoh is actually made with coffee! I used decaf coffee just in case it ended up in the mouth. It smells super yummy!
Here's how to do it:
Ingredients:
4 cups water
2 Tablespoon oil
2 cup salt
1 cup dark Coffee Grounds
3 Tablespoons Cream of Tartar
4 cups flour
Directions:
1. Add water to large saucepan. Stir in oil, salt, coffee grounds and cream of tartar until well blended.
2. Turn heat on medium-low and while continuously stirring, add flour slowly.
3. Continue to stir
4. Place saucepan on the stove over medium heat, stirring continuously until a stiff ball of dough forms (2-3 minutes).
5. Remove the warm dough from the saucepan and place it on your working space. Knead for 1-2 minutes.
6. Enjoy using this soft playdough with all kinds of fun items like toy insects, snakes, animals, leaves, flowers, etc. in celebration of the Earth and all dirt lovers!
Note: I needed 3 batches of the above recipe to cover my longer sensory bins, which measure 35" long and 16" wide.
