The Screen + Support service is a screening & consultative service designed to support the family that has concerns about their child's speech, language and/or feeding skills and would like some additional information on how their child is doing + a plan for how to support their child at home. This service is ideal for a number of different situations, including:

The Screen + Support service is a screening & consultative service designed to support the family that has concerns about their child's speech, language and/or feeding skills and would like some additional information on how their child is doing + a plan for how to support their child at home. This service is ideal for a number of different situations, including:
- families who are concerned about their child's skills, but aren't quite ready to have their child formally evaluated
- families who have had their child evaluated and the child did not qualify for therapy services, but the child had a "borderline" or mild delay
- families who have had their child evaluated, but the parents question the results of the evaluation or continue to have concerns
- families who want to help their child "catch up" from a mild delay in speech/language or feeding skills
- children who have been "exited" from therapy but continue to need monitoring to ensure their skills don't backslide

A SCREENING:
- A thorough review of your child’s history, current skills and your concerns, either by phone or email (your choice).
- An appointment with Emily Goudreault, lead speech-language pathologist and owner, to observe and screen your child’s skills (speech/language or feeding, depending on the concern) for up to 45 minutes. The screening may be completed in-person or online, depending on your location.
A PERSONALIZED SUPPORT PLAN:
- A Personalized Support Plan, complete with strategies on how you and other caregivers can support your child’s skills. The Personalized Support Plan is written just for your child and your family, customized based on the family history you provide, your child’s current skills, your concerns, your child’s temperament and personality, and your goals. All strategies focus on providing FUNCTIONAL skills at home to help your child feel successful and decrease frustration.
- Follow-up appointments are provided to offer you and your child continued support. All of our Screen + Support consultation packages are designed to fit in with your busy schedule. Whether you are looking for an opportunity to pose a quick question, need a longer-term relationship that you can access from your computer, or prefer the more direct and personalized interaction of in-person/phone/texting services, our Screen + Support services offer personalized and unique advice for your child's speech, language or feeding skills.
WE OFFER 2 TYPES OF SCREEN + SUPPORT PACKAGES:
- Online/phone only. All communication, screening and follow-ups are completed by phone or computer.
- This is ideal for families that live outside of our service area (West Michigan within 60 miles of Grand Rapids or Holland/Zeeland/Saugatuck), or for busy families that would like the flexibility of this type of support.

- In-home support, paired with online/phone services. Screenings are completed at your home at your convenience, and if you choose to have additional follow-ups, you may choose to have those at your home or via email/phone.
- These services are ideal for families that live within 60 miles of the Grand Rapids or Holland/Zeeland/Saugatuck areas or West Michigan and prefer the more direct and personalized interaction of in-person communication.
